Alda's

dinner last night was at Alda's. i don't know how long ago was the resto situated at the corner of Padre Faura and Adriatico but i have seen that resto since i was a little girl. it doesn't look like a resto from the outside, it even appears to be closed always. but inside has a classic resto look, dark, cozy and old.

that dinner was the long over due "reunion" of the puerto galera first timers. dionne, joven, benj, pearli and me first got together during our puerto galera trip last may 2004. everyone promise to see each other some time after the trip but it took us over a year to finally do so. hehe. =)

it wasn't my first time at Alda's but it was my first time to try the chicken croquetas and boy, it was really good. i was always saying "Masaya to." in between croquetas. Another favorite was the extra creamy fettucini. Can't wait to have my next croquetas!
