crisis

our family is in a sort of a crisis right now, health-wise.

saturday, july 16.
my dad underwent several tests and is feared to have a block in his artery. the doctor is requiring him to undergo angiogram to know whether the block can be removed though meds, or angioplasty, or heart by-pass.

sunday, july 17.
grandma on both sides. Nanay Zeny is complaining of constant pains in her stomach and her vision is slowly deteriorating. we brought her to an optometrist thinking she just needs reading glasses. but the optometrist recommended a visit to the opthalmologist since she sees it is not just a case of poor eyesight. i pray that it is not cataract or glaucoma. Lola YIng on the other hand is complaining of dizzyness and difficulty to walk. because of the pain in her legs, she drags her left leg when walking or sometimes cant walk at all. my cousin who's a doctor recommended that she undergo xray because the case might be related to the nerves.

monday, july 18.
Ninong Eneng, based in Italy, was daigonosed with cancer last january. he started with his chemotherapy last May. he is now slowly regaining strength. we were surprised when a call came in regarding his worsening condition. apparently, the cancer had already spread and had affected his liver. i pray that he'll get better. he's yet to see his grandkids grow. but if this is God's will, our family will humbly accept it.


it's so hard when you feel so weak and helpless yet have to be strong for all of them. the one i want to help the most is my cousin in Italy. he is not in good terms with his dad since i don't know when. i don't want him to realize his mistakes when it's already too late. but at the same time, i can't leave my dad to face the diagnosis alone. i also have to be strong for my mom because she is the one caught in the middle of everything. i have to be strong... if only JB is around to help me...
