Yesterday, Benj and I went to Ms. Emily Uy's office in Masangkay. We have an appointment at 4:30 PM. Since we were meeting in Robinson's Place Ermita, we decided to leave around 4 PM. We also haven’t been to her place nor are familiar to the area. Since I left the printout of the map at the office and just knew the general location, we just decided to ride the LRT and go down at Bambang.
Two firsts for us, the tricycle ride and seeing the UST main building together (unfortunately, Benj only saw the cross sign at the top of the building... he’ll just have to wait for Dionne and Joven's wedding).
We went down the tricycle at Philippine Academy of Sakya. It was quite a short ride. Hmmm... naliligaw na ata kami. Hehe! Good thing we saw the Pearl Towers sign. Lumampas lang kami ng konti but we made it there in one piece.
Emily was sooo nice! From our text messages and finally to the meeting that day. Since I only had a rough idea of what I wanted in the cake (motif of blue and silver, that’s it), we started from scratch. Good thing she had lots of good ideas. I really love the sketch she made for me. She was considerate and flexible. I also got a lot of ideas from her for my "future" cake. ;) After a few minutes, she came up with the design for the cake - 2 edible light blue layers with edible silver beads and nice toppers! i'll keep the topper a secret. will post pictures na lang once we have it. :)
After the meeting, Emily told us where to easily find a ride so that we won’t have a hard time finding our way home. Nice talaga sha no. :)
We had a great time with her (sarap ng pound cake!). Definitely, we’re getting her. Hehe! We just have to deposit the reservation fee. Still no check on this one until I get the money from Tita Zeny.
Cake - Check2b :)
