Cathy can't leave without a despedida. So the group met at Gilligan's at Park Square. Knowing that Joven is always on time, we expected that reservations will be made under his name. And because Lalaine (now in UK) and Mai (in Canada) are out of the country, everyone came almost on time. A few minutes apart, the people arrived - Cathy and Anne, me and Benj, Cri-c and Manuel (Dionne was of course with Jovs).
We feasted on pork sisig, inihaw na baboy, lechon kawali, sinigang na hipon and adobong kangkong. Hindi naman kami masyado galit sa baboy noh? It was a happy busog dinner for all of us. Ewan ko lang sina Dionne at Jovs, since they did not have any rice. Sinigang without rice! I don't know how I can do that.
After the happy busog dinner, next stop was CBTL at GB3. Since Mem gets off from work not until 7pm, she and Monching went straight to coffee. More kulitan and tawanan started. Then, it was time to give Cathy our surprise - an "interactive" scrapbook filled with memories of the past both funny and embarassing ;)
By 10pm, Cathy and Anne had to go. Dumating na kasi yung sundo nila na "friend lang" ni Anne ;) So we took last minute pictures then said our goodbyes to Cathy (bawal umiyak!). Cri-c and Manuel left na rin leaving Dionne and Jovs, me and Benj to put Mem and Monching in the "hot seat". (It's payback time after putting us in the "hotseat" when they met Benj, hehe.)
We called it a night by 11pm. The group will see each other again in October for Anne's birthday celeb and house blessing but we will be a head short by then...
