Dear Alexa,You have already been through a lot in your first year and I'm glad you went through it like just like that. I know that you will grow up to be a strong, smart, and loving individual. I don't know a lot and still have learn from life. But I will share with you the few things I learned so far...
* Always treat people with respect.
* Don't cut line, specially during enrollment ;)
* As much as possible, don't cry in front of the person who pisses you off.
* Love your family. They are the only people who will accept you/take you back no matter how much of an ass you were.
* Learn to accept change.
* Always smile. Always say "Thank you."
* When you say "Sorry."... mean it.
* Accept that not all promises are kept. Nevertheless, try your best to keep your promises.
* Give and don't expect anything in return. God will give it back tenfolds.
* Always say "I love you." to your parents.
* When watching a concert and you feel like dancing to the tune... go dance! You won't see that schmuck beside you again anyway. :P
* Dance like no one's watching. Love like it's not gonna hurt. :)
