The Linzes!

The race was down to the Linzes, Bransens, and Weavers...

The final leg of AR8 was aired yesterday and the Linzes won. Three brothers and their sister bagged $1M. For the first time it was a very close fight to the finish. I would have been happier if the Bransens (father and three daughters) won because I saw how their father struggled to be in the race. Maybe he was not able to anticipate how physically demanding the race can get when he joined, but he kept on. I admire him for giving his best to make it to the finish line. Reminds me of my dad. :)

I was kind of expecting the Linzes to win anyway. Their profile fits the description and requirements of an AR winner. Being young paid off. I think this is the fairest race so far. The first place position was won by different teams, distributed almost evenly. Although the Godlewskis finished fourth, they had the most first place positions throughout the race. The Weavers finishing 3rd had a fair number of first place positions also.

Same with me Beej! =) While I was watching the final leg, during the puzzle-map of the UNited States task, sumisigaw ako for the Bransens particularly for the father. I can see that he was already exhausted and I really admired him for being strong, kinaya pa talaga nya...and when they're finally running towards Phil, nakakaiyak.

Merry, merry Christmas Beej! =)
