V Date

Part 1

Benj asked me to reserve Feb 10 for us. It will be a pre-Valentine's Day celeb. Traffic will definitely be heavy on the 14th and besides, it's gonna be BADUY if we go on that day. Hehe. Ok, on with my story...

We left right after office. I didn't knew where we were having dinner and I didn't ask. I wanted it to be a surprise. Although sometime mid last week, he asked me if I would like to have at dinner Chateau Verde. Never thought of it as a clue though.

Our arrival and the weather was perfect. We got there before 7pm and there were no guests yet. We were able to choose a nice spot where we can see all the angles of the resto and its beautiful ambiance. The weather was nice too. It wasn't humid making us appreciate the garden setting even without any airconditioning system.

The food, (I have to be honest) was not as good as we expected. It's not really bad but I guess it was overrated. With lots of good reviews on the resto and specially the food, you can't help but set high expectations. Oh well... After dinner, bonding and quality time was spent at UP's Sunken Garden.

Part 2

The date at Chateau Verde was bitin thus the part 2. We watched the remake of the movie Fun With Dick and Jane. With a 90 peso movie ticket @ Market! Market! and a bag of with Holy Kettle Corn at hand, you can never go wrong. As expected, it was a funny Jim Carey movie. It was a nice weekend movie. And even better was Aling Ineng's barbeque and Marina's sinigang for dinner. Sarap! :)
