So many things happened in my life for the past month. I can barely catch up with it. With little time to spare, I'm just gonna breeze through it.
My vacation started with the first fitting of my bridesmaid gown in Pasig. I was so worried I won't fit in it. Surprisingly I did, but not because I lost weight (in fact, I even gained) but because I was wearing a bulky pair of jeans during the measurements. The "real" measurements were taken and I now have no right to gain or else... patay ako kay Tet! =(
I spent the first 3 days of the Holy Week at the beach. Sun, sand, snorkeling, mango shakes, lots of drinking and eating, bumming around, a good massage, and a nice tan - the works! 3 days, yet it feels so kulang. I want to go to the beach again...
Then there was the traditional Pabasa by the Fajardo clan and Bisita Iglesia of the Lee's. Its a record breaking 14 churches in 3 hours this time. Although we don't do it the tradional way - walking, the sacrifice instead was a super late dinner done after all the churches. Celebrating Easter, Benj and I watched Bandidas at Robinson's Galleria. But something happened in the cinema that I think will make us think twice watching there again. Do you want me to tell? Hmmm... I think I will. Or maybe, just maybe, the Gokongweis can just pay me so that I won't. Hehe!
April 25, daddy was scheduled for an agioplasty of his LAD coronary artery. Things did not go well that the doctors had to abort the procedure and think of other ways to handle the situation. And as if things weren't bad enough, the artery was punctured forcing an emergency coronary bypass operation. But daddy's ok now. (Thanks for your prayers!) He's at home slowly recovering. We're slowly going back to "normal". The doctor says it'll be 1 to 2 months. I know we'll get by.
Got a chance to slip out of the hospital last May 1, Benj & I rushed to Viramall to buy Benj's mama a new mobile phone. It's his gift for her on Mother's Day. Sweet, no! ;-) Then we went to Cavite to have one last look at his Tita Sion. I'm sure she is happy wherever she is right now.
And now, I'm back to normal, work stuff and all. I hope my blogging rate will be back to normal too. I miss blogging...
