First of all, I want to clarify that I am not complaining. I won't deny that traveling around the metro in a private vehicle is convenient but of course, we can't do away with the commute. I just want to write down things that I couldn't understand with other commuters and with commuting. Maybe some of you could enlighten me.
Why can't people stay in line?
At most jeepney terminals, the line-system is being implemented. However, I don't understand why people in can't wait for their turn. More often than not, someone wants to overtake, specially when they can see that everyone in line can be accommodated. Fine, everyone will be accommodated, but the point is, I was in the line first therefore I should get to go in first and have my choice of seat.
Invading my space.
Whether you're seating sideways or holding the handrails with your arm in front of my face, please, don't invade my space. We both paid the right amount of fare, therefore we claim what we paid for, including the space.
Wait for the red light.
It just takes 60 seconds to wait for your damn turn to cross the street. Why can't you wait?
Giving way to the elderly.
I don't get it when some adult, a father in his thirties with his kid, can't get off his seat for the eldery who's around 60 or 70 years maybe. I think he is just using his child as an excuse to have the seat for him. Why can't he give his seat to the elderly who can probably the seat with his child?
Not because you're old, you're right.
And to those who are older than me, you still need to follow the rules, i.e. falling in line, and give courtesy to others. Again, not because you're old, you're right.
I could name a lot more, but I'd stop here. I don't want to go on ranting and take the negative vibes with me when I take the train home. Bye!
