I rarely have the chance to travel outside of the country. When I do, I definitely do not pass up on the opportunity. This October, I will be going to Hong Kong and Bangkok. Yipee!
Excited, I am, I immediately searched the net for anything and everything about both places. I came across various informative websites such as Hong Kong’s tourism website – Discover Hong Kong, this, and Bangkok’s Tourism Division and this and this. I was already planning my itinerary in my head as I went through the websites. I even have my “temporary” itinerary using this site. I had fun even if I was having a hard time trying to compress everything in four days! But, I am definitely going to Disneyland and shop till I drop in Bangkok. Hehe!
I was so into the different websites that I forgot to plan for our hotel accommodation. Since it will be my first time in both places, I asked my friends who have been there and several travel agencies. I also searched the web and came across a very useful website – Hotels Combined.
And guess what?!! I love it. As I discovered, Hotels Combined is a useful search engine for the best hotel rates. I was actually surprised to see Boracay and Cebu in the home page. Anyway, I think it is very useful especially for newbies. I would definitely recommend it to first timers like me without any idea which hotel to choose. The site is very user friendly and organized. It shows the hotels, the latest prices, the latest pictures and the latest reviews. The prices can be viewed in the currency you prefer. When booking, you can choose the travel site that gives the best rate. Galing di ba? (Great!)
We haven’t booked a hotel yet until now. Hehe! But I will definitely use Hotels Combined.
