I always wonder how it would be like to Africa, particularly Johannesburg and Cape Town. I did a little research on the cities, tourism and of course cheap hotels in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa with a large source of diamond and gold. Wow. They have casinos, theme parks, zoos, and museums to boot. One of the most popular sports here is football. In 2010, they will be hosting FIFA World Cup which will definitely boost their tourism. Thus the hunt for cheap hotels in Johannesburg is on. Sandton Hotels in Johannesburg are cheap, clean and are situated in good locations.

Cape Town is the second most populous city in Africa. With beautiful beaches and unique city geography, I’m guessing cheap Cape Town hotels are also hard to find. But with a good amount of patience, I’m pretty there will be good hotels to find.
