I can't help but be bothered by the scene I saw in the train on the way home last Saturday night.
I little girl was seated beside her nanny. She was probably sleepy already because she put her head on her nanny's lap. In the next station a family of four – mom, dad and 2 boys got it. The mom sat the younger kid beside the little girl, then her other boy. The vacant space was too little for another kid but the mom insisted her son making the little girl decide to get off from her seat to give the space to the boy. When the girl stood, the boy's parents laughed. I am pretty sure they were laughing at the situation and what the girl did.
Laughing at the situation surely told the boys that what they did was ok. At what age should parents teach their children to be gentlemen? What else are these parents teaching or NOT teaching their kids?
