NDE

Near death experience. Ok, I may be exaggerating a bit. But there was an accident and we (Benj and I) were right there. Here's the story.

We went to Viramall around 4pm yesterday. We were there to have Benj's uncle's Wii modified, and along with other errands. We needed to get some cash from the BDO machine, unfortunately, it was offline. So, we went to the other machine beside the entrance near the chapel. A few minutes in line with Benj, his small cousin Bea, Ate Carol and Sophie, I heard a loud sound similar to an explosion. When I was about to turn to look where it came from, I heard a loud crashing sound and almost instantly saw Ate Carol and Sophie running away from where we were standing. On impulse I too ran away, carrying Bea. A few meters from where we stood, I looked back and saw pieces of the glass door on the floor and Benj's Havaianas.

I immediately looked for Benj. To my relief he was beside me, but with only one slipper on. He left the other while running away. We then realized that it was the glass door behind us that exploded and crashed. Luckily, no one was harmed, although I felt a small piece of glass on my sandals.

We carried on afterwards. But if anyone of us was harmed, the management will definitely hear from us. I was in shock for a few minutes, my hands were shaking, and I forgot to take a photo of the crash site.
